Dharma Acid Dye powders are mixed to create Muffs Berry Bush palette from the Strawberry Shortcake colour collection. Based on 100g of fibre. Weigh out your dye powder in mls or grams.

There are repeated colours (across single sets of five listed individually) - I recommend purchasing the entire Strawberry Shortcake collection.

• Create colour collections quickly and easily.
• Store in a binder for easy reference.
• Print and attach your colour samples.
• Create new colours by making many shades of one colour.
• Adjust the recipe to make your own new colours.

Colour can vary from screen to actual fibre. Colour appears different on different types of yarn and different shades of white or natural coloured yarn.

Colour palettes are different then colour books. How I make palettes is I take the closest colour from my colour book collections and adjust and test until it matches up with my digital palette… there is the odd colour that is very close and the odd colour that might be the some neutrals and blacks. It takes me about a week to complete and organise into each groups of five :)

Weigh out your dye recipe amounts in grams or first make a 1% solution for each Dharma dye used in this palette. Measure the recipe amounts in in mls and mix the into one cup or jar. Mix well. Place in dye bath or use your favourite dyeing method. Measure in grams is optional with basic math required.

The amounts shown for each recipe are based on 100g of fibre. If you want more saturation, double the recipe. If you want less saturation, divide the amounts in half. If you want to dye more shades of the same colour on various fibre amounts, consider using a dye calculation chart for quick reference. Available in the Muffs Etsy shop.

Keep shade colour samples on hand for future reference.
Always record notes and keep a sample of your finished work. Print out the PDF and staple or thread your yarn colour sample to it. Store in sleeve and place in binder.
