ABOUT As a graphic designer turned fibre artist and with background in colour theory, I have always loved colour and absolutely love mixing dyes. This colour collection was created using a systematic approach. The colours in this collection were mixed, recorded and then tested on 1g of natural ecru wool yarn fibre. You can experiment by over dyeing white, grey and other shades of natural yarn. Colours can appear different on different fibre types. For example, I have found the colours to appear more vibrant on bright white Mohair yarn, deeper on Merino 4ply and less vibrant on uncombed wool roving. INSTRUCTIONS 1.
