Behind the Palette
This collection ended up being very large! With so many exciting, chocolatey colours to explore, I just kept adding to it. I found it hard to stop exploring the world of Willy Wonka, from the Oompa-Land to the golden ticket itself. Instead of focusing on a few characters, I ended up exploring the whole story. Then, I completely missed my favourite part - the Blueberry scene with Violet Beauregarde. So will there be a sequal?
The result is a collection full of rich browns, golden yellows, vibrant primaries and everything from soft shades to deep, saturated colours. It’s practically an entire chocolate candy world of its own. You just have to love golden yellow. And chocolate!

With so many colours in this collection, there are endless combinations to explore. Some feel rich and chocolatey, others bright and playful, and some bring together colours I wouldn’t necessarily have thought to pair at first. That’s one of the things I love about colour: there’s always another combination to discover.
One colour theme is just the beginning! By dyeing each colour as 1 g yarn samples, you can see how the colours translate onto yarn, compare their depths and intensities, and discover how they work together.
You can even turn a solid colour palette into a multicoloured yarn colourway by combining the hues in a single skein.
